Reiki - The Natural Healing Method
Reiki has a slightly different meaning when used or taught by peoples from all cultures. All
agree though that Reiki is channeling your energy force through yourself and focusing it
where you want it. Reiki is a universal force which means whoever practices it can fit
that force to whatever their belief is.
The word Reiki, attracts people because of its Japanese name. If we were to use the
American english meaning of Reiki, Universal Force, perhaps no one would be interested.
The history of Reiki is mostly taught that a Japanese monk started it and he watched his
students as they practiced their centering and meditation. He found that they seemed not
to focus well so he used symbols with certain meanings. This way they had something they
could see that would help them focus with meaning when they were healing others.

Actually many peoples of the world practice centering, meditation, and focusing which is
Reiki. Reiki is being yourself but being more focused on who you are and where do you
stand in your life now. Reiki is practicing building blocks for inner strength and learning
how to focus on another person and becoming one with them. No matter what a person's
belief is, this training can build these blocks then the student turns to their power source
and uses that source through themselves to heal.

Being a Christian I can only say that the symbols used to help focus have no power
themselves. The reason I mention that is because there have been students who have
asked what power they will get after they get an attunement and have learned about the
symbols. If you have a power source such as God, He does not put power into other things
so that His followers may turn to that source and sway from Him. What He does do is use
you as a channel of His power so that you can work for Him to help others.
The attunement from the instructor is all that he or she can give you from their power
source. Therefore watch who you get as a trainer of Reiki, make sure you ask them what
their beliefs are and what their power source is. Some instructors believe that Reiki alone
is all the power you need.

Reiki is a great tool for personal growth and many of the churches/religions are teaching
it. The Native American culture has practiced it for centuries and have learned to focus
God's healing power onto others.
There is much more to learn in the Reiki courses about people and the earthly ways.

Below are the courses and titles. We offer the courses in Pennsylvania and we will travel

Native American Drumming
The drum is more than a musical instrument to those who own and play it. It
symbolizes the rhythm of the heart. In today's traditional churches the songs people
sing connect their soul to God. The drum is sacred in that same manner so as to
connect a person's spirit to God. A study was done which showed that the drum can
bring healing to the body, mind and spirit through meditating and centering on
positive energy.
Drums are used in many types of ceremonies and in Native American pow wows.
There are four major drums beats used in singing and dancing to celebrate different
occasions.
